Please Give 50,000 Shard Nuno Mendes a PlayStyle – This Is Unfair

You're absolutely right, they brought in much better players for 20-30 thousand game pieces, that's unfair, it's unjust.

Friends, we bought the 120 OVR Nuno Mendes, thinking it would be the best in the game because someone informed us about it, but all the players that can be bought for 20-30 thousand in-game parts have surpassed it. It didn't get the UTOTS upgrade, nor did it get the Playstyle feature. We demand that you resolve this injustice immediately. At the very least, refund 20 thousand in-game parts to those who purchased it. If you believe this is fair, then shame on you.

Mendes didn't make the UTOTS team, as simple as that. If you got him before the UTOTS team was announced, then it was a rushed decision, as it's never guaranteed which cards make UTOTS, and rushed purchases can be costly. If you bought him after the UTOTS release, then you bought a card for 50k shards that has no playstyles, so it's still your decision with all the writing on the wall.

Lower OVR UCL Nuno Mendes was a part of another event (while back-to-back event cards for the same player are uncool, these are a fairly common occurrences in recent years). And while I get the sentiment and why it's annoying, TOTS cards could only get playstyles if upgraded to UTOTS, since Nuno didn't make UTOTS, and another event is another event. 

Something to consider to max the player haul. You can purchase cards with shards after events, and with UTOTS, you did have overlap with the 1st week of World Games and release of the UCL finalist cards, there were plenty of failsafes to select the best bang for the buck card, so yeah...
Moving forward, I would pay attention to the leaks, guides and the in-game info. Most guides/players would advise you to wait rather than spend, especially since there is no enforced rush with signing shards.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a fair answer. The game is built on this, you get newer players, higher stats, you couldn't do this, you buy elite players and I rushed because I bought them too soon. The whole Tots card doesn't work well.. The cheaper newer cards perform better. The Tots money was a waste, if it didn't work, you would replace it with a later one, they blocked them, they were slow, nothing worked for them, I feel like they got a big nerf, not the later cards became stronger, because the statistics don't show that, they should be competitive, they should have very fluid movement and attack and defense. instead they are like the mid-ranked 115 ovr cards who are not big names in the game..A nuno mendes 50,000 shards should stop anyone at least 7 times out of 10, Just like a 119 Tots lamin yamaal should be fast and fluid instead it does not bring the statistics shown and is high enough. I think they got a click for performance degradation unfortunately.. This is not fair in this round unfortunately I also built on Tots and their reaction time is slower and they have been unsuccessful lately and they are not playing well it pulls their performance back noticeably. gxtxggi9do83​ The answer is based on what the game has actually delivered content wise. The 120 TOTS Nuno was released before PlayStyles existed and he didnt make the cut into UTOTS, while the 119 UCL Nuno was released after they were introduced. Different events, different rules, different costs.

You can disagree with EA's decision there, but I am not going to discuss the decision, as this was done and has been fed back, as well as the exorbitant shard cost of top-end 120 cards, from 40k to nearly 70k.

What needs to be said though, is that by the time UCL and World Game content arrived, players could hold their shards and compare options before spending them. Between TOTS, UTOTS, UCL and WG, there was a full week where players could see all the available choices before committing their shards (and the only one gone nearly a month later is UTOTS).
Historically, one of the best ways to maximise event rewards has always been to wait until the last day rather than rushing a big purchase, and the new signing shards system allows you to make that decision AFTER the event concludes.

Also, waiting for a "big break"? No, it's resource management. Rushing a 50k shard purchase always carries risk, especially when multiple events and card releases overlap, and newer content can be viewed before spending. The timers were in-game, the information was available, and there were plenty of guides and leaks discussing upcoming content.

Like many old schoolers, I waited, maximised the haul, and with a bit of luck plus DR and market grinding, I'm at 126 OVR as F2P. Several key players in my league are sitting at 124-125 OVR as F2P as well. We all work with the same content and resources. Some choices simply work out better than others. 

Dude, what you're saying is ridiculous. If I bought the most expensive card in the game, it should be the best. It's not just Utots, brother; other 119 OVR card players have better stats and can be bought for 20-30 thousand in-game parts. So what's your answer to that, Mr. Know-it-all?

Nuno is not the most expensive card from TOTS? Mbappe was, and technically still is, the most expensive card in the game. If you wanted UTOTS, you needed more cards (or shards to get the required cards) to convert him, so the overall cost is a lot more than UCL Dembele. And he is a very hard striker/winger to defend/play against.
The new cards are the new cards. New events, new stats, and you exactly prove my point. Wait for the cards to be released, especially since you are not forced to spend the signing shards by a specific time. You can still claim Buffon from the lunar year using your shards (this is to illustrate the ability to claim pre-sign shard cards, months later).

You talk about violations as if telling the truth were an offense. Or as if my life depended on a mobile game... lol.
