Proposal: League-Based Challenge Mode

I want to propse a new game mode based on real league progression, where players engage in Head-to-Head (H2H) matches to simulate a full league season (e.g., Premier League). Each matchday is represented by a live H2H match, and results determine your standing in the league.

• Players choose a real-world league (e.g., Premier League) and a team (e.g., Liverpool).
• Once selected, a full league fixture is generated for the season.
• On Matchday 1, the system assigns a league fixture (e.g., Liverpool vs Newcastle).
• The gamer plays an H2H match against another real gamer (similar to Division Rivals; ie. the opponent gamer doesn't have to select Newcastle. It can be any H2H game with any available gamer)
• The result of the H2H match becomes the official result of the in-game fixture. Example: If the user wins the H2H match 3–1, then Liverpool defeats Newcastle 3–1 in the league table.
• Remaining matches in the league for the matchday1 are simulated by the system using a logic based on team strength and form.
• The gamer proceeds through each matchday in the league using the same format by playing H2H matches.
• League standings are determined by match results .
• At the end of the season, the gamer advances to the next season (e.g., 2026–2027). Based on their final position in the previous league season, they can qualify for additional tournaments:
  Example: Finishing 3rd in the Premier League qualifies you for the Champions League in the next season. Fixtures for domestic and international competitions are generated accordingly.

Gamers use their own Ultimate Team (UT) with their current OVR (Overall Rating). Opponents are matched based on the league opponent’s relative strength. Example: If you're Liverpool with a 110 OVR and face Newcastle, the system matches you with a gamer whose OVR is around 108–109 to simulate a fair challenge. If it is Liverpool against Arsenal, the opponent OVR can be 110-111, etc..

I think this new game mode would bring a new excitement by simulating a full league experience, encourages consistent play over time, similar to a season-long career mode .
