Weekend Cup is pointless

If you can’t give us matchups with decent ping then this becomes yet another infuriatingly pointless event. My ping more than doubles to 45ms (and beyond) every time I play a Weekend Cup match and, at this point, the game is simply no fun. I’d rather wait a minute or two for a match with decent ping rather than experience a match in which I’m not so much playing as arm wrestling the AI for control of my players.

My question to EA is this:  Do you guys ever actually play your own game under real world conditions (i.e., the laggy mess we all experience day in and day out)?
