Quick check-in on Ginga!

It's overall a great event and the rewards as well as the starpass are good but it would be better if there were more fun challenges to complete as there are only 3 daily matches to play 

What needs improvement is matchmaking. We should get paired with players with divisions similar to ours.

I would also like to know more about the system of this event.

This event is lousy for F2Pers for all the same reasons as TOTY. Draft odds are terrible and it’s further magnified by the fact that Ginga is a short event which gives fewer opportunities for F2Pers to earn our way to the certainty of a Pool A player. Short of spending loads of $$$, we F2Pers have almost no path to winning top Ginga cards. I’ve played everyday and have won 2/3s of my H2H matches and will hopefully earn the Savinho, but he’s of no help in terms of improving my squad. Ginga puts me just another step closer to quitting because it only confirms the trend begun with TOTY — pay or become part of a permanent lower FCM caste.

The top ranked players in these short mini events were always hard enough to obtain for F2P players using the old shard system (bearing in mind we were probably also committed/invested deep into a bigger event). They are obviously impossible to obtain now without significant spending, so I haven't even bothered to look at or consider the 116/117 players. There's a couple of nice little rewards which are worth getting but that's about it. The H2H lag/connection issues/glitches etc. were pretty terrible for the first few days but they seem to have improved to a playable level now. It's all a bit "meh" to be honest but at the same time I guess it's only supposed to be a side event.

Bottom line is the event just adds to the overall frustration. It’s a nice little event with some different content that is quite fun but I knew from the start it would be totally irrelevant in terms of progression of my team, so query, what’s the point? 

for f2p or modest payers the top rewards are out of reach . If others have money to spend on 100 drafts to gain a shot at a 116/117 then that’s their prerogative. I think you’d need 20,000 FC Points to earn a high rank player, so £100 a shot. That you might end up with a. 116 or a 117 but in a position you don’t need is crazy to me, but each to their own. 

right now, as with the whole game, the reward is not worth the effort and each time you stick to the plan it makes it worse. 

The event is nice, finally bringing back h2h to an event, albeit a side one. The rewards could've been better. The players are inaccassible though and not really worth spending vouchers on the ginga draft (vouchers are scarce). But overall it's a nice concept.
