Re: Why Demote Our Current Division When Season End??

I have been playing the mobile version for over 10 years. Never have I ever been constantly demoted and fans taken in VSA away like this. At the beginning of the last two VSA Season (3 and 4), my team has been relegated to World Cup III and reduced to 420,000 fans. There was also a fan reduction at the beginning of Season 2. This is not a way to create further engagement as I compete every single day. it is a bug within the game as it does not effect H2H or Manager competitions. EA Customer Support has been made aware of the bug but so far, there has been no resolution. For now, I shall only compete in VSA matches just to complete Daily Quests.

Hopefully, everyone's gameplay experience will improve in the near future. Have a happy holiday season everyone!

    It’s wrong to demote us every season I’m not supporting that’s ideal

    @mendozzamagic For me the rewards aren’t incentive enough to grind my way to FC this year. First year I don’t care to grind to FC in VSA or H2H. Been playing since the game came out and am finding it hard to login everyday to play this game. The incentives for Division Rivals and Events just aren’t good enough to justify playing and spending money. I hope They see how bad they messed up this season, specially with this TOTY event and make some improvements.

    Thank you for your response. I wanted to check with Technical Support and to play another season before replying. This is what I have been told by Technical Support. With every season update, the three modes (VSA, H2H, Manager) "get reset to the base level of the current ranking". Plus, "... if you have a higher rank, like Legendary or FC Champion, you will also lose a percentage of fans depending on your current rank". This is what transpired at the end of Season 6 five hours ago:

    VS Attack

    I finished the season in World Class II at 574,600 fans. For the fifth consecutive season, I was demoted down to World Class III and 420,000 fans and not the "the base level of the current ranking".

    Head To Head

    I finished the season in Pro I at 336,500 Cups. It correctly reset to "the base level of the current ranking" of 319,000 Cups. This has been the case every season.

    Manager Mode

    I finished the season in Pro I but was demoted to Pro III, two tiers down and (once again) not to "the base level of the current ranking".

    If Technical Support is correct, demotions are not part of the reset at the beginning of every season. By demoting players, it makes the game partial to only those who have a lot of time and money to spend on the game. Average players will keep "spinning their wheels" and get absolutely nowhere with the game which is a killjoy.

    It’s a stupid change, very demotivating! Certainly one of the changes that have made the game a lot less fun this season, along with the rank-up system, the impossibility to transfer training, removing team chemistry, and the fact that most things are now chance based…

    Why demoting two tiers down? I worked very hard to get to the Legendary I and to get demoted so easily. Also, rewards for division rivals are so bad. I have to play for a month to get, in average, 80 ovr player? So bad.

    Yep - feedback has been passed on - I think they thought it would get people more interested in playing VSA and working their way up, but as far as I can tell it has just had the opposite effect as well as creating considerable confusion - makes zero sense to me
