If you r really ready to spend 1100 shards for the exchange, suggest you spend 150 more and get it from Gallery mate for 1250 shards. Anyways you r ready to loose your 111 Beckham, so that itself will give you 120 shards from the exchange.
Unlikely EA will do any changes, but lot of us have complained about the high requirements. Let's see if they change anything.
