Skill game: long pass, terrible thingy
What's the point? what kind of skill this is trying to develop? Nobody does long pass like that.

The lob skill has been around for years, nothing new, just got re-added to the game after a lengthy break. There are plenty of passes like that in the real game, too.
Yeah, but it’s extremely difficult to get consistent accuracy — which is why I seldom use this passing technique and kinda have to agree with the original post. Just feels like EA are lost for creative new ideas and are always resorting to recycling old content rather than putting in the work to do something new. I’d be a lot more forgiving of recycled content if they were actually making improvements in other areas, but they’re not even doing that. What do they actually spend their time on? Honestly, it’s a complete mystery, Seems like all they do is create shiny new “wrappers” each month for the same old challenges and players and little more. Gameplay remains stuck in the 2010s (if not the “aughts”) while the price to stay competitive keeps rising. The value proposition with FCM is at an all-time low for me. If I didn’t have 15 months of grinding invested in my current squad I’d have quit a month ago. Definitely won’t be around come summer if present trends continue.
As I said many times, I'd wait for WC, it's gonna be either great or there will be an exodus. Until then, all events will be pretty much fillers IMO. Unless some aspects of the WC concept are 'pre-released' as a bit of testing in the next couple of events. The last WC event was pretty good, so we shall see.
Getting defensive will not help the community
Defensive? A factual statement isnt defensive, its stating where the game is right now. The WC event (maybe even TOTS) will show us if the feedback has been listened to or not.
Unfortunately, it seems we are living through the end of an era. FC can't keep up with this pace of crazy prices and terrible gameplay.
