Some proposals for EA FC Mobile Gacha Mechanism Optimization

 Core Goal: Balance short-term revenue & long-term game health, repair player trust, control power creep, and ensure F2P/light/mid/heavy spenders all have a fair gaming experience.

Overall Timeline: 3 Phases (30/60/90 Days) | Aligned with 2026 World Cup commercialization.

 Phase 1: 30 Days (Emergency Fixes) - Regain Trust

  • Full Transparency: Public gacha drop rates (113-117 OVR) & pity rules (no secret rate changes) within 7 days.
  • Better Pity System: Pool A (116-117 OVR) pity reduced to 80 pulls; Pool B (113-115 OVR) 50-pull pity for 115 OVR. 1 pull = 1 universal token (100 tokens = 1 free top card, permanent & cross-banner).
  • Shards Return: Daily/weekly/monthly tasks yield shards (F2P can get 116 OVR monthly, 117 OVR in 3 months). Old shards exchangeable for new resources.
  • Player-Friendly Bundles: 1-7$ light-spender packs (no threshold); heavy spender benefits only for skins/effects (no stat boosts).

 Phase 2: 60 Days (Ecological Balance) - Control Power Creep

  • Power Ceiling: Max OVR fixed at 120 (no unlimited creep). New cards focus on "functional differentiation" (tactics/skills) not just stats.
  • Card Lifespan: Old 115-116 OVR cards can be upgraded to new stats (no OVR break). Idle cards recyclable for materials/tokens.
  • Tiered Operations: F2P (grind for sub-top cards); Mid-spenders (lower pity + accelerated shards); Heavy spenders (exclusive skins/identity).
  • Non-Gacha Monetization: Season Pass (free/paid tiers, no top stat cards); Customization (skins/stadiums, no stats).
  • Fair PVP: Match based on rank + comprehensive card strength (not just OVR) to avoid F2P being crushed.

 Phase 3: 90 Days (Long-Term Sustainability) - Align with World Cup

  • World Cup Dual-Track: Gacha + tasks (watch live streams/predict matches) to get World Cup cards (F2P can collect sub-top cards).
  • Diversified Revenue: Reduce pure gacha revenue to <60%; increase Season Pass/customization contribution to 40%+.
  • Long-Term Mechanisms: Fixed update rhythm (monthly minor/quarterly major); Player Supervision Group; Daily ecological health monitoring.
  • Post-World Cup Plan: World Cup cards can be upgraded to fit future versions (no rapid depreciation); retain shard/gacha/token system permanently.

 90-Day Key Targets

  • Negative public opinion <10%, gacha complaints down 80%.
  • F2P/light-spender 30-day retention +30%, mid/heavy-spender 90-day retention +40%.
  • 117 OVR card value retention rate ≥80% (3 months); power creep controlled at 120 OVR.
  • Payment penetration +20% (mainly light spenders).
