Stop Punishing Players When Opponents Quit

One of the biggest problems in Division Rivals is that the single-match system punishes the player. When the opponent quits, the game automatically switches to a BOT and we are forced to finish the match for no reason.

We play one match, the opponent leaves, but we don’t receive a default win. Instead, we waste time playing against a BOT that sits in defense and runs down the clock. It’s boring, frustrating, and completely kills the motivation to play.

If the opponent quits, the match should:

- End instantly
- Award a default win
- Not punish the player who stayed

Right now, the opposite is happening. The player who quits the match is rewarded, and the player who stays is punished. This system makes many people stop playing Division Rivals.

Please fix this issue: if the opponent quits, the game should automatically end and give the win to the remaining player.

  • Exactly I support this ea should change it and also provide some good pack luck to players too I don't get good players that I need in my team

  • I agree that when an opponent rage quits due to a lack of sportsmanship after conceding a goal or two in H2H, there should be consequences.  It could probably be detected in game. If EA could implement logic to recognise such behaviour and punish those sore losers, it would be a massive improvement and a deterrent.

But not all drops are caused by the opponent rage quitting, though. There will be some "genuine" dropouts outside of the players control, whether it’s a random network issue or the ongoing latency problems affecting H2H these days. So, hypothetically, if your phone or FCM crashed, your device battery died, or your internet dropped out and you lost connection to the server, you’d probably be the one complaining that it’s unfair to be punished for something outside your control.

There are always two sides to this. Furthermore, when an opponent simply rage quits, it actually benefits the player who stays connected in H2H, since you can still score a few easy goals as AI is extremely predictable when defending. You can basically put your phone down like you would watching MM and enjoy an easy win.
