With great respect for the work and dedication of the EA SPORTS FC Mobile team, I would like to formally submit a gameplay and progression system proposal that aims to enhance long-term player engagement, gameplay depth, and market stability within FC Mobile.
Proposal Title
Skill-Based Player Progression System With Fair Market Integration
1. Introduction & Purpose
This proposal is designed to complement the existing FC Mobile ecosystem by introducing a skill-based, effort-driven player development system that rewards consistent gameplay, positional mastery, and long-term planning—while maintaining a fair and healthy in-game market.
The intention is not to replace current systems entirely, but to add depth, realism, and sustainability to player progression.
2. Core Concept: Position-Specific Proficiency Training
Each player develops based on their natural football position, rather than relying solely on generic Rank Up progression.
Examples
Striker (ST): Finishing, Shot Power, Positioning
LW / RW / CAM: Pace, Dribbling, Agility, Ball Control
CM / CDM: Stamina, Passing Accuracy, Defensive Awareness
Fullback: Crossing, Recovery Speed
Center Back: Tackling, Strength, Interceptions
Goalkeeper: Reflexes, Handling, Positioning
Daily Training Limitation
Each player is limited to a maximum of 4 proficiency training sessions per day
Encourages strategic squad rotation
Prevents instant progression abuse
Reinforces realistic development pacing
3. Proficiency Challenges & Active Gameplay Integration
Player proficiency is earned not only through training, but through active participation in gameplay, including:
Position-based Skill Challenges (Striker → Goalkeeper)
Versus Attack
1v1 Matches
Manager Mode
Live Events, Events, and Seasonal Content
Each player can earn Proficiency Stars (maximum 5 stars).
🔹 The higher the proficiency star level, the greater the training point efficiency gained, rewarding:
Consistent usage
Skill mastery
Active engagement across modes
4. Skill Star System & Market Control Mechanism
To maintain market balance and avoid inflation, Skill Stars serve as controlled unlock keys rather than direct power boosts.
Unlock Rules
50 Skill Stars
Unlocks 1 untradeable player, allowing:
Temporary tradeability, or
Strategic permanent squad usage
100 Skill Stars
Unlocks 2 players
Trade Time Limitation
Tradeable status lasts 7 days
If not sold within the period:
The player becomes locked again
Cannot be traded unless additional stars are earned
This ensures:
Market exclusivity
No sudden oversupply
Meaningful effort behind each sale
5. Fail-Safe Conversion System (If 50 Stars Are Not Reached)
To ensure player effort is never wasted, Skill Stars can be converted into alternative rewards:

Market utility bonuses (e.g., reduced tax for a short period)

Every developed player carries a progression history, not just an OVR number.
