TOTY Draft , F2P progression and Phase 2 tokens URGENT FEEDBACK
EA sports, your new draft system needs serious adjustments. It has a number of problems that make it feel impossible to progress in the game.
Problem: Only after spending ludicrous amounts of gems do we get a decent player and this model isn't sustainable to build a team.
Solution: Either make all the players tradeable or add the lower OVR players to the phase 2 tokens system so we get something out of each draft.
Problem: The guaranteed pool, 10 drafts for a Pool B player isn't horrendous but still difficult. However 100 drafts to guarantee a pool A player is ridiculous. I would have to spend 300,000 gems to do so.
Solution: Reduce the price for a draft voucher to 1,500 - 2,250 gems maximum and make it so we can get pool A players quicker such as 40 drafts. Or keep the gem price the same and give us a pool A player every 15 drafts guaranteeing a Pool A player after 45,000 gems.
Problem: Removing other reward systems, we are no longer able to obtain rewards using universal tokens, league exchanges haven't had much to offer in a while, and other currencies are difficult to obtain. And all this happens as it becomes harder for us to use event tokens.
Solution: reintroducing reward systems such as universal tokens, and making sure we can get decent rewards from them such as a few draft vouchers which aren't ridiculously priced. Reintroducing this and something more similar to the shard system or adjusting Phase 2 tokens to match the shard system may revive a large portion of the player base.
These aren't all the problems but they are some of the biggest ones. Fixing these could help fix some of the underlying problems as well.
