Unable to select specific team to play footyverse match with netherlands player

You're 100% right. It kills the league because everyone is changing their active lineup for footyverse and league doesn't connect with chosen league lineup

I don't think that's why they have low over teams. The event requires to play one game and score with a Dutch player. You don't have to use a full squad, you only need the striker so you can score two goals. So play that match then change back to your normal squad.

Yes but check all the requirements for Gulkit, Hazad and Scweinsteiger. It takes time. But in the time you're doing that your ovr in the league is that active lineup and not the one you selected for league and opponent score more goals and get better chances because of that

Use multiple lineups and after you play the daily game change the lineup to the one with the highest OVR.

Thats what I'm doing. Strongest lineup thats used for LvL is never touched. When I switch to second lineup and chenge within it in league tournamet that lineup is shown as the one opponents play against. I have members that lower it to 90 ovr and they concede 40 goals

Yes, there is a big that I noticed too after the new event started. Before you play the match, select the line up you want to use from the drop down menu and then also go to the tactics menu ( where you can see the players ) and change it there too.

Its been the case for ages in spite of EA bringing in those farcical fixes which gives us the illusion that we can have a separate lineup for each of DRs and tournament. 

There is a good thread somewhere on this forum about this where it is explained that essentially you would need your active squad to be the one selected for league lineup as well otherwise the matches won't count for rewards calculations. 

I don't think they can fix it.. we need to circumvent as someone suggested to add only one or 2 players who could do the job for those matches.
