Vsa - what constitutes a good chance?

Hmm, What more can I say … the forums are a community page where players can come and discuss issues, that are moderated by a Community team from EA who look after a number of different forum boards and pass pertinent information back to the relevant gane specific development teams. They are assisted in this process by volunteer community members (heroes - not my choice, sounds a bit much, but it is what it is) who help the Community team out and help funnel feedback.

In FC Mobile the Heroes are lucky that we do have direct access to the gameplay team, and can feedback and discuss issues directly … yes, they don’t post much on the forums, but that doesn’t mean they are not reading your posts, discussing them with the Heroes to get more context or our input, or acting on the issues that are raised.

when I say “the team is aware and is working on it”, it’s not me blowing smoke up your ****, it’s me relaying to you that it is being looked at seriously, and if something can be done to address it, it likely will.

Take the ball highlighter - that came about because of direct feedback from people on here about some of the balls being impossible to see - i had heaps of conversations with the gameplay team about it, helped test it out in the beta and provide more feedback, and we now have it in game (and hopefully at some point across the whole game).

Now, VSA chances … yeah, sometimes they are a bit whacky, and sometimes the keeper seems like they are completely juiced, and other times they work exactly as you would expect and you win easily where you have an OVR advantage … are they perfect, hell no, are there still times where you get spanked by someone -2 OVR, yep, but as a whole are they better than they were 6 months ago … well, that will probably be a matter of opinion, but for my, and the way I play, yes, I seem to get better value for my chances and am losing far less matches where I have an OVR advantage, and now reach FC Champ every season in VSA, whereas previously I would never get close.

so, in summary:

is the game perfect - no
are VSA chances perfect - no
are the dev team aware of this - yes

does the gameplay team play the game and understand the frustrations - yes

does the gameplay team see what is on here and build the constructive feedback into what they are doing to improve it where they can - yes

is there a reason that they don’t post on these forums much, even though they monitor them - I don’t know, but maybe because if they did they would spend hours a day on here answering question after question rather than actually working on the game.
