When is the Market being removed?

As per title really. It's obviously the way it's going (every reward untradeable, people can't buy players due to costing billions of coins and no way to earn said coins) so just wondering if I should spend what coins I have on a player or will be getting some sort of compensation for saving coins that we won't be able to use?
