Cannot purchase in HK webstore.

I created my account in Australia, but I am currently living in mainland china/hk. When I log into the webstore and attempt to make a purchase, it refuses to let me pay using wechatpay (for example) in the HK region, and prompts me to pay in the country of my account creation. However, this is not feasible, as I no longer have access to any of the payment methods in the Australian region. I have changed my EA account region to HK, which has not rectified the issue. Is it possible to manually change this so I can make purchases?
