Can't link account to personal account

Hi, my son plays FC Mobile on my iPad. Last night, he dropped the iPad and broke the screen. I will buy a new iPad and wanted to transfer the game data from the old cracked iPad to the cloud/an account so he can pick up where he left off on the new iPad, but there's no Link Account option in the settings menu. The first thing I can see is the UID. Is there any way I can save/transfer data using the UID or change something in the game to get a Link Account option to pop up? Thanks!
