😂 But it says in the info what the probability are for getting high over players. Yes, EA does take advantage of people, especially young ones, by exploiting human urge to gamble and get high reward for nothing. I do agree that they should not be allowed to use gambling into a game that allows kits to play it. If you look gambling is every were in the game and it got worst since the introduction of the gems . It wasn't like this before. Cards could be won only from events or from the market. Nowadays people go crazy with the gems packs. If you read the posts on the forum you will see how many are complaining about their luck in opening those boxes and practically begging for EA to somehow give them free cards. It's hilarious.

Technically, it's not a scam as probabilities are typically shown in-game, and anything high-end has less than 1% chance of getting. Having said that, ethics are highly questionable behind this business model for many games across many genres, especially the mobile ones, free to download (nothing in life is free).

Yes. When they post the packs there were no 109 but the pack was locked anyway. So it was not a scam, just that it was a little bit confusing.
