Even though I am in a league, the gems do not come when the league season ends

Even though I am in a league, I cannot get gems when the leagues are renewed on Thursday. I encounter this result even though I am actively entering the game. I have read all the rules and I am not making a mistake. I could not understand why it gives one week and not the next? I have only received gems for one week so far.
