I recently got the new Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and when I try to sign in to my EA account on FC Mobile it takes me to the EA account sign in screen but when it tries to return to FC Mobile it is just a black screen and won't continue.I have uninstalled and reinstalled FC Mobile.I have tried with a Google account sign in and it works.I have tried Wi-Fi vs Cellular data, nothing changes.I have tried resetting my Wi-Fi.I have clear game cache data.The phone is brand new out of the box.

@EA_Illium I found the solution for this.The pixel by default uses a high resolution and not full resolution.I sent into my pixel's settings and changed my screen resolution to full resolution and was able to link my EA account normally.Hope this helps.

We might be running into an issue on a newer device, I didn't release the 9's had already released.

Thanks for the additional information, Can you clear the cache of FC mobile and try linking your EA account again?

I have the exact same issue as described, but on Google Pixel 8 Pro.
I also have the latest OS updates and the latest app update, and I have also tried clearing cache to no effect.
In addition to this, I can get a slightly different result if I enable auto-rotate before starting the game: everything is the same as described above until the end, where the screen has green lines/dots instead of being black. See the attached picture for a screenshot.

Yes.
Signing in with my Google account worked fine and has successfully linked. But after signing in with my EA account, the sign-in window closes as it automatically tries to return to the game, then the black screen described in the original post appears (or if Auto-rotate is enabled, then the green dots/lines appear as shown in the screenshot I posted).
Also, this happens regardless of whether I try to link my EA account through the Quests menu, or through the Settings menu. (Both of these appear to use the same account-linking dialog anyway.)
I'm uncertain about this, but it feels like it might be related to the issues the game has on Pixel phones with screen maximisation and displaying ads. (I remember seeing the maximisation issue reported on here last year, but it's still occuring.)

@EA_Illium I tried from a separate device (Samsung Galaxy) and it successfully linked and worked as expected, with no black screen or other issues.

Back on my Pixel, it now shows as being linked (thanks, btw!), so I believe the issue appears only when trying to link directly from a Pixel phone (and isn't related to my accounts, since @DetrimentalBalls is also having the issue on a Pixel).
