gameplay freeze

Lately, I've been experiencing gameplay freezes while playing one-on-one matches, even though previously my device ran very smoothly with smooth movements when playing. But why is this happening lately? My device has 258 GB of memory and 8 GB of RAM... This makes me reluctant to play EA FC Mobile.
