I cant change the email linked to my ea account

Hi and yeah ive been trying to change my email that linked to this ea account to another email but ea keep saying that that cannot done this because ive changed something before now i have to wait even tho all ive changed was my password which is in another category so it shouldn't count other than that i didnt change anything and i think 30 days is too much for just email changing this is very frustrating because ea didnt even have a category for something like this so that i can get help with ea support
