Non-existent customer service

Genuinely the most frustrating and poor customer service I have ever come across. All I need to do is solve a linked accounts found issue and the result is waiting in a chat queue for more than 8 hours multiple times. When an agent connects, if you aren't still sitting at your computer eagerly awaiting, you are given 5 mins to respond. There is no email notification to say an agent has joined or you are number 1 in the queue, just that the agent has left and here is the transcript.

No email option, no do it yourself option to unlink accounts, no phone option...forced into a 10hour chat wait queue. This is truely the worst company experience of my life. Can someone put me out of my misery and help or tell me EA is not worth it and to save money in the future by not playing their games?
