  • Would need to see the video. But in this instance, I'd suggest looking at IFAB and applying the Law 11 ruling.

A player is in an offside position if:

    • any part of the head, body or feet is in the opponents’ half (excluding the halfway line) and
    • any part of the head, body or feet is nearer to the opponents’ goal line than both the ball and the second-last opponent

Your 1st pic shows an offside by a blue player,  the right knee of your winger/striker appears to be in an offside position thus the call is correct. The ball is behind the attacker and in front of the defender.  It's hard to tell without seeing when the ball was kicked and where the positioning of your attacker was, which is why I said need to see the vid 1st.

The pass happens at the 11th second of the video, and you're right, it's not offside. The pictures/screenshots you shared initially were captured too late showing no offside so I stand corrected. The CB where the blue line is drawn definitely is keeping the striker on-side.

AR is positioned correctly and blind as the same time. But on a serious note, when it comes to gameplay issues, videos are way better than pictures since snapshots only show part of the story.

One for you to pass on mendozzamagic
