The issue is with my account and not the device or Internet connection. I created a new EA account to test it out and the new account worked perfectly. The error messages started showing up immediately I connected my original account.
A guest account worked too. and I tried to login on another device and got the same error with my original account also. the issue is strictly with my account.
I've tried to login with my Facebook and Google play accounts too, but I get the same error 1000 message.
I haven't been able to play for almost 2 weeks now, I've lost so much progress, missed the entire Bundesliga chapter of the TOTS and I'm currently missing out on the Serie A chapter too.
