Madden 24 Blue Screens Every Time I Play - PC

I have not been able to play the game without it bluescreening randomly for my computer. I surpass all game requirements. The issue is only present on Madden 24. My computer has never blue screened until this game and I continue to play other games without issue (even more intensive ones). The bluescreen seems to be random. Sometimes I will last about 10 minutes, other times I might almost be able to finish a game. I have tried launching it in big picture mode on steam, changing settings like lowering the resolution and quality drastically, etc. with no changes.

I am running Windows 11
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti

I have confirmed there is no issue with my CPU or RAM that would cause the bluescreen. It literally only happens with this game.

  • I have also had this issue. It's so frustrating and I don't know why it's happening.

  • This exact same issue is happening to me too! I've tried circumventing the issue in the same ways you have, and it still keeps happening 😢

  • I have the same specs and am seeing this issue. The game is UNPLAYABLE!!!

  • Hey man. Same issues as you with the same CPU

    i9 10850k 3.60

    EVGA 3070ti

    32gb RAM

I was having BSOD every game more or less. I went into my bios and disabled my OC on my CPU and it seemed to help? I was able to get through 2 full games and it finall BSOD on the third game. After that I havent managed to get through a full game since. Bummer cause I thought maybe that had fixed it. I recommend giving it a shot though. Wouldnt be surprised if this game wasnt too excited about the OC specially with EA Anti-Cheat being all up in your pcs guts.

Unfortunately, I don't have OC enabled to even try that.

  • I had the same problem which started last night. I am transitioning to a new computer that I just built, and Madden 24 ran fine on my old build which had the recommended requirements (far less superior to my new build).
Last night I was playing and in the 2nd qtr, the game kicked me out to the my desktop. I didn't think anything of it, so I restarted the game. I resumed the game and as I was closing in on half time when the game completely crashed, and I got the BSOD.

At this point, I was freaking out since I just built the computer last week and this was the first time that it BSOD. Now I noticed a few people have posted who either have a 30 series graphics card and/or a i-9 cpu. At this point, I am far too paranoid to try playing this game again but I do feel a little better than it may be an issue within the game and not my pc build.

    My Specs

    i-9 1100k (It is overclocked)
    3070 ti (EVGA)
    64 gb ram
Running on Windows 11 as well

Well, made it through  4 quarters but had a black screen with audio to start Overtime so I closed it out via Task Manager.
Was hoping the new patch maybe fixed things but happy I didn't get the Blue screen of death this time around at least.

Ran Madden 23 the other day with no issues as well.

Moved Madden 24 from my M.2. Boot drive to my internal SSD drive this time around too.

  • Welp I'm having this problem now too all of a sudden. I have i9-9900k rtx 3070 Ti

My game use to run perfect no issues. Constant blue screen it could be before i go into a match or right after. Sometimes just clicking around.
