I've been trying to DL the game since last night and every time I try to downlead the game, it just gets stuck on preparing then says error after a while.

I tried that myself it didn't work for me 

yea it didn’t work for me bro idk what else to do i guess i’m just gonna wait sadly.

Might've just figured it out, don't download it using EA, download it using steam.

Have to through EA if bought through origin?

I've been trying to download Madden 24 on my PC for a few hours now and it's stuck on "Preparing..." I've been trying to download it using the 10 hour trial via EA Play/Xbox Game Pass. Clearing the launcher cache, running the launcher as administrator and restarting my PC haven't worked, so I'm at a loss. Thanks

This happened to me too. I tried multiple solutions suggested by other people, but none of them worked. I was forced to pay for EA play in Steam, so I could download the game in Steam for the trial. However, once I downloaded it, I ended up in a whole other situation.

This is still an issue btw, tried installing today no dice.
