Madden 24 Keeps Crashing

For the past 2 weeks every single online game I load into I make to about the middle of the 1st quarter and my screen turns black then it sends me to the main menu. I play many other online games and this does not happen so I am sure it is not a connection problem. My gamertag is (Its Lil Juu) on Xbox Series S/X.

    Hi @jswetter 

    Can we try the following if you have not?

    • Quit the game and other running apps from Quick Resume (For Series X|S consoles)
    • Remove any connected device, or additional USB's from the console then restart the Xbox and check
    • Check for updates 
    • Try the steps in our Connection and Advance Connection Guides 
    • Open you're Xbox NAT Type
    • Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)  
    • Persistent Storage 
      • Go to settings > Select Device & Connections > Then Blue-Ray 
      • Select Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage 
    • Alternate Mac: 
      • Go to settings > Select General  > Then Network settings 
      • Go to advanced settings > Alternate Mac address > Select clear 
      • Select restart

    this does not work. i’ve tried almost everything i possibly can for my game to work but nothing is working. my game just freezes then dashboards me. i have dropped hundreds of dollars into this game just for it not to work. please fix your game.

    I am on PC and I have this same issue. I cannot get the game to work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game multiple times. I have repaired it. I have fixed my firewall issues. Nothing is working. Spent all this money on this game and it just continues to crash every time sending me back to the load up screen of my PC.

    I downloaded madden 24 last year and it crashed and overheated my xbox since the day i downloaded it. No other game does this and it doesnt seem like my xbox is abnormally warm when my console shuts itself off. Almost every online game, ill sometimes be sitting in the menu and the game crashes.

    The sad news is, college football 25 seems to be the same issue for me. Same crashes, its new and im playing early access but ive played and completed maybe 2 online games. Cant play the game without a black screen popping up or my console shutting down. Its the exact same crash, same as madden. 

    Only advice ive gotten from an xbox rep or ea rep is that my console needs repaired, ive tried everything to get madden to work. I just dont see how my console is the problem when the only games that crash are specifically madden and ncaa. Just doesnt seem right
