Madden NFL 24 - October 17th PC update loop

On the EA play version of Madden 24 it says there an update but everytime I try to update the game it says there still an update. I have uninstalled both EA and Madden 24 and I keep having the problem

I'm unable to "update" Madden 24 on my PC with the EA App. I have updated the game several times even restarting the PC, resetting the App Cache, and repairing the game through the app function. I have also uninstalled the EA app and reinstalled the app to no avail. I'm not sure why this might be happening. I also have 250 GB storage left on my PC. Please help guide me through this problem! Thank you. 

As you can see in the attached photo, the app says "Update completed" in the bottom left, but still doesn't allow me to launch the game. 

Using Madden 24 for PC on the EA App. Game says update required but when i try to update it jumps to wrapping up, finishes and i get a notification saying i can launch the game but it still doesnt let me load the game as the update is still required. Game was working roughly 5 hours ago. Tried clearing cache, Closing EA programs in task manager and rebooted PC a few times but nothing has worked so far.

Madden 24 updated this morning via the EA Play App (PC). After the update, it still says "Update Required". I tried updating again, repairing and reinstalling the game however it did not fix the issue appears others on reddit are having the  same issue.

I have this exact problem too! I have restarted the app, cleared cache, uninstalled the EA App, and everything you can think of. I don't want to uninstall the game as I'm scared im going to lose my progress in Franchise. But it's good to hear i'm not the only one going through this problem. 

Madden 24 updated and now it won't let me launch even thought it says that the update is done. It is just a cycle that won't stop and I can't play my game.

Yep, Thats exactly my dilemma, i dont want to delete the game and lose my data but im concerned this will be my only option, just hope there is another way.
