Trying to unlink from an old email

ok i have been trying to unlink my xbox account from my EA account because its tied to an old email/phone number i don't have access to any more.

Case #178433172 i was litterally being sent the code which i received but my chat glitched out. I have not been able to even get the chat with us option to even appear for almost a week now since then. I don't know what im doing wrong but i'd really like to get this issue fixed.

    Hey @bhasse This is something our support team will need to help you with. 

    As for the trouble with your chat window, can you check different case categories when creating a new case to see if that will give you the option to start a new chat session? 

    Click here on your PC: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/   

    1. Search for and select 'EA App' in the search bar.   
    2. In the left menu, click on 'Manage my account'.   
    3. Then, choose 'I need help logging into my account'.

    Thank you, I apparently can't be logged in in order to access chat for some reason.

    Strange, but thank you for letting us know. I will review the form on our website. I hope you were able to chat with our adviser without logging in.

    I am having the same issue. I cannot unlink my gamertag/xbox profile because it is associated with an email : disabled.ea.com

    chat support has been giving me the run around not able to help me. I have submitted a case to remove ban with my gamertag from this email that I do not own. 

    how do I move forward for ea to approve the unlinking of my account? I have two case numbers:187427860 and  187402109. And I still cannot be helped from ea.
