This works to download it but it still shows as not being owned.
On the MVP product in the xbox store it says to upgrade.
Honestly terrible communication from EA for people who have chosen to spend a large amount of money on the bundle.

Well, it is the 11th and still no Madden download.
No, I don't have the phone app and from what I am hearing, that may not work anyways. Yes, you can download it, but I am seeing people saying it still shows as you don't OWN it.
Come on EA....there are a LOT of confused people here who spent $140 on this bundle.
My only Madden still says an ADD ON......
I just got off the phone with Xbox Support and they said it was a glitch and they even though it shows that you don’t own it you will be able to download tomorrow because it is considered an outage. I have no idea but this is ridiculous
It is ridiculous. Never had this problem before.
I did just go to the app and download the game it is downloading right now and I am not getting any triangle with exclamation point or anything like that. So it seems to be the best way to install since no one is helping
I downloaded through the app, no problem.
But the icon for Madden has a triangle with an exclamation point on it.
When I select Madden to play it, it says:
Do you own this game or app?
If you have a game disc insert it now. If you bought this online, make sure you are signed in.
So it is basically telling me I don't own it....
- @6587849862948 It doesn't work I use the app to download Madden 25 even though I have the mvp edition bought and it still says that I Don't own the game I'm getting sick of this * * $170 and I can't even download the game to play at 4:00 today when Early Access starts. Ea sports only cares about * money and that's it

I really hope it gets fixed before 4:00 though cuz I think it's going to be kind of BS if a whole bunch of people can play today at 4:00 and all the Xbox players are stuck not playing until the 13th
Bruh.. every year EA finds a new way to * us. I would have never bought the deluxe if I knew this * would be such a * problem. And the lack of answers on EAs part is incredibly frustrating. EA GIVE UP YOUR RIGHTS TO MAKE FOOTBALL GAMES
It says they don’t own it because the early access doesn’t start until 3pm est on the 12th so you can’t technically own a game that isn’t out yet.
- @poppabear1985 But it usually will say pre-ordered. And you could click the game tile and would say something along the lines of it's too early to be played
EA and XBOX tripping man. This is BS, game comes out in 3 hours, and still no update if you purchased the MVP bundle if you will be able to play or not. If when the game drops and I still can't play 100% hopping on the phone with XBOX and refunding the BS ASAP and just gonna bite the bullet and purchase the 2 games separate. And just play the EA trial till get it refunded.
if we can't play this bs I definitely won't be paying EA more money. I'll just refund it and buy one or the other. I won't be giving them more money and rewarding them for this nonsense
So what happends to folks that bought the MVP BUNDLE from GameStop? Cuz this is * * on EA’s part, we spent too much money on these two games and there trying to * us out of money. They need to get there * together with almost 3 hours till release. Fix the * games EA, honestly after an experience like this I either want compensation or something, may be the last time I buy a Madden / CFB game. The hype is dying out because there too incompetent to release * properly.
I paid over 140$ for the MVP Bundle which I have a receipt for, the description says I’ll receive early access on both games EA Sports College Football 25 “Deluxe Edition” as well as Madden NFL 25 “Deluxe Edition” it shouldn’t * matter whether it’s the date of early access because all games when you preorder them pop up in the owned games section on the Xbox. Don’t tell us it’s because it’s not August 13th yet because on most people’s Xbox our early access says August 12th at 1:00pm not August 13th. Many ppl are have this issue and early access is a few hours away and you guys have done nothing to fix this issue. I don’t understand what part of what we are saying, you guys don’t understand ! We paid money for this bundle and it’s telling us we don’t OWN the game and that Madden NFL 25 is an add-on and doesn’t need to be installed. Everyone who has an Xbox Series X|S knows that when u pre-order a game it shows you own the and it also allows you to pre-download the game so when access is available you don’t have to download it you can just hop right into the game.
Ok guys give me a few minutes I have found the solution. On the phone with XBOX working it out right now.

@jokerface1030 - Let me know what you find out. I was on the phone with Xbox this morning and a supervisor is supposed to be calling me back to discuss. Still haven't gotten that follow up call though.
