So you can edit your line-ups outside of the “Lineup” module. If you go into “My Items” you can select the player you want to add and choose “PROMOTE TO STARTER”
This will work for adding in back-ups if you add them first then add your projected starters last, ie: it will demote the player you added previously.
This is a limited work-around as you can’t adjust your specialist in this manner.

Issue, my 3rd Down Back and Power Back slots are not filled and need to be, no way to do that from item binder is there?
I wish they had the depth chart module and formation subs module that Franchise mode has.

I was going to try this later on. Plan is to generate best lineup to cover gaps in special teams and specialists. Then work backwards from item menu adding players from backups to starters.
Yeah, just takes an extra hour to go 1 by 1. And if you have full binders this is a boondoggle
Have to auto gen them and hope the ai puts the right person there.
