Coaching abilities

What is the point of selecting a coaching abilities and confirming them each week when the computer changes them?!?! Had " after school tutor " on every single week and then when its time to select focus players the computer automatically disableds the ability and i cant select the additional players.. at this point. This is absolutely ridiculous and ready to get my money back
