Does EA Sports even comprehend the number of paying customers who have seen the Superstar mode completely destroyed by this mind-numbing server related issue? I experienced server related issues for the first time a month ago, and decided to uninstall the game, delete all data on the console and server, and reinstall to start over.
I was able to play the Superstar mode for only a few weeks before without warning I started getting the same data retrieval error messages that others have started threads here to report. It has reached the point where you as a company are no longer even answering the bug report threads about it, even though that's the sub-forum here where such issues should be reported. You've completely ignored both of the threads I created.
Well, I uninstalled the game a second time and deleted the data as well. But, this time I won't be reinstalling the game. The desire to play your game has been trashed by this needless server connection requirement linked to what should be an offline game mode.
EA Sports, is data collection on your customers in offline gaming really more important to you than the basic workmanship of the game itself? It would be questionable to require a server connection for an offline game mode, but when that connection leads to data corruption and disables the entire game mode, then continuing to require it constitutes breach of faith and failure of basic marketability.
These are legal standards and failing to meet them are reasons why companies get sued in class actions. Is this really your objective? It has been since October that this ugly server related bug has been experienced, and yet the glacial pace of feedback and updates indicates EA Sports doesn't care to fix the issue.
Mind you, I purchased the original Madden NFL game for Sega Genesis back in 1984. Yep, I'm 62 years old. But, when reliability issues cropped up years later, I stopped purchasing EA Sports games. Then, I decided to take the plunge and purchase Madden NFL 26 after having a positive experience with NCAA College Football 26. Well, this disappointing collapse of your only offline game mode has shown me your excellence in game performance is only matched by your refusal to make your game reliable.
It doesn't need to be this way, and it is such a shame when you allow this stuff to happen.
