New Patch has completely ruined the game on PC

Whatever you guys did, has ruined the game (Go figure, EA devs again having the IQ of a spoon) Even on a very high end PC, the game won't even let you attempt to play Superstar, and any Franchise ...

Same here for me, I've done everything from going into task manager to turn off all the background apps, to lowering or disabling all of the settings, including taking my resolution down to 1280x720.  It's basically unplayable right now.
