Community ManagerYour question in your post is not even accurate in its scope. It’s not the title update that is root cause of the problem. No other modes are affected and it is across all platforms. Began for everyone last Thursday at the same time roster updates are sent out each week, so roughly 5-6pm EST. The problem is described below:
It’s plain and simple. It’s not an error message but instead it’s a loop that makes you download the updated rosters anytime you enter into team selection menu to play a game or select depth charts to make adjustments.
If you back out of depth charts after making adjustments and go to play a game, the roster update requirement comes up again and prevents you from playing a game unless re-downloading which results in the only way to play online H2H is with default depth charts and then in game pausing, and making adjustments in the short time allowed. The end result is any and all enjoyment being removed from playing online H2H which sucks for those like me that solely play online H2H as it is continually the lowest prioritized mode for issues being addressed or any new innovation on behalf of EA.
This may be only time I can think of that a member of EA has ever specifically posted about online H2H solely so may be only chance to ask why this already bare bones mode has been stripped down even further the past 2 years for reasons unknown? Till 25 we could make a custom jersey and use in-game. At the very least we could count on the default jersey selections working properly when selected but then 25 came out and both no longer work. At least I will still see my actual ranking with a number and information on games played and see total wins and losses despite jerseys now being defective, right? Wrong, that was flat out just removed from the mode altogether. Without being sarcastic in any way, can you please help me understand the reason behind the changes?
