I am a giants fan so trying to use John harbaugh as a coach that gets hired by the giants is infuriating because the ravens won’t fire him and if you demand a release he doesn’t get any offers at all. Obviously you can’t choose a specific team but why can’t I get any offers at all with a Super Bowl winning coach who has a high level?
I’ve done the same thing. What you have to do is demand the release from the Giants head coach first, then retire and go back to your original coach. Upgrade abilities and play sheets as much as possible, especially the player development and personnel abilities, as much as possible. I’ve found this to work every time I want to take a specific coach a coach the teams I want. It’s worked for me every time.
