Franchise Ultimate Team...

Hear me out...What if there is a Franchise Ultimate team (FUT) where instead of spending money on whatever it is they spend money on for MUT, we can buy the fixes to the issues we have. It could even be a collection, kinda like a Go-fund-me, but for like getting stats to track properly...Say that costs $500. Maybe if we give them more money they will actually listen to us? I am not saying this is the best idea in the world, but it is something. I need the community to let me know what you think. I want to know how much you would pay for the things you want fixed in the game. Here are some things I would pay to have fixed:

Player Physique

Uniform options

Stats tracking properly

Players missing when sorting in the roster and stats (sorting by speed or any other attribute, catches)

Equipment Editing

Those are just the first ones that came to my head. Keep in mind, these have to be things that can be easily addressed in this Madden. Please let me know what you think.

Have a great day,

Josh

  • What do you think EA_Kent ? Is this something we could do? I am 100% serious, and I don't think I am alone. I think a lot of us would pay to fix this game.

After Googling it, this game title makes around 600M as a common annually cited figure, with that number going over a billion if you include CFB. It's cited that a "significant portion" of that money comes from in game transactions. This means MUT essentially. We learn two things from this:

    1. Money is not the problem.
    2. MUT is their cashcow.

If we give them more money judging by what we learned here, where do you assume that money will go?  It seems MUT is helping support Franchise actually, which is presumably why it gets priority. I hate MUT with a passion, and I really wish they would just make MUT a separate, free to play online experience with ALL the microtransactions as they can possibly add to it, while giving more time and care to Franchise...but I certainly won't be holding my breath waiting for it to happen. We'll see in a couple years if this new buyout changes anything and if the new management will actually care more about the product as a whole. But since increasing revenue will always be the goal, idk if I'll hold my breath for that either.

GVRH You are 100% right. I just don't know what to do. I thought maybe if they could make microtransactions on us maybe it would be worth their while. I have never seen such a lazy company in my life. They really don't have to care that much. Just do their job. That is all. Not asking for anyone to do anything crazy here, just do the job you are paid to do. I will do it for free. I will fix our issues for free if they would let me. It is infuriating.

jjdwyer30 Well that's what we're hoping new management will fix. Maybe these new guys will care more about the product, idk. But  in the mean time, there's nothing we really can do besides share our thoughts here. Either we continue to buy a sub-par product or we don't. However, the fact of the matter is, that it's the only one we have right now with NFL licensing, and despite it being a sub-par product, it's still a far cry better than everything else out there (if you've tried the alternatives you know). And I highly doubt it's that they're lazy either. I'm willing to bet it's closer to overworked and too stressed according to what a lot of other people I see within the industry saying online. They're not treated very well within their own companies. I also highly doubt dev teams just don't care...it's just a year is a very short time period to not only include the updated tech they're working on, but also incorporate all the changes people want. It's just a lot. That being said, it's still unethical to put an unfinished, dysfunctional product on the market regardless...but EA is hardly the only one doing this.

  • The premise is solid…however, EA will then give us a more broken game than they give us now (if that’s even possible, because this game sucks) just to make more money off of us asking them to fix things that should come basic in their game. Like relocation uniforms that are properly made and not inverted in color scheme to look like garbage.
