Is Madden better than Madden 2005?

Question

Alright EA you've had 20 years to make a better product than the one I played in 2005 is this the year you do it?

Can I create plays? Can I build my own playbooks with my created plays? Can I load formation subs into the playbook or is this something I have to do EVERY GAME?

Is Defense playable or do I have to keep simulating when I'm not on Offense to keep from having a Stroke?

Does it feel like I've got help on DEF or does it seem like I'm the only one of the 11 guys trying?

Have you put half as much into Franchise as you did for that ridiculous My Team?

Just checking. I'm pulling for you - I'm totally betting against it, but still pulling for it.

Dang meant to say Madden 2026 not just Madden.&nbsp; See EA I don't test my stuff either.&nbsp; Fixed it in a patch.

It's even worse now than in 2005, even when you load custom playbooks EVERY GAME it adds formations NOT EVEN IN YOUR PLAYBOOK.

Injured Reserve still does not follow NFL rules.

Somehow of the over-hyped new coaching stuff has broken the three locked Development Slots - THEY NEVER UNLOCK. This actually worked since 2005, BUT NOT ANY MORE.

Agree about the Defense - I usually just use the 'advance to possession change' and don't even watch, too ridiculous. Does any QB (except yours of course) throw incomplete passes anymore?

Its pretty evident that they couldn't even if they wanted too. There's no real money for them in making a decent football game. They just prefer to copy &amp; paste year to year.
