Playoffs are unplayable

Regular season games and preseason games do not have this bug, but as mentioned in several other posts, franchise playoff games are nearly unplayable as players seem to be randomly substituted out of position (WR 1 starting as CB2 or DT2 as TE1, etc). Your depth chart and adjust lineup will be set properly, so the only way to fix is to use the preplay substitution menu to try and quickly remedy your lineup for that particular formation (kicker/punter cannot be changed and defensive subs are difficult due to the offense snapping the ball too quickly). I have to simulate all playoff games because it makes them unplayable.
