Resume Game Option Missing

Hey,

I'm playing Madden for the last 30 years or so. starting on my PC. As I love to play the full 15min a quarter it happens that you might not have the time to finish a game. In previous years you just quit, the game progress was saved and whenever you want to continue you just resumed where you stopped.

Now in Madden 26 it appears that this option isn't available anymore. I just played this afternoon and had to do something else. I did it the same way as ever quitting the game and shutdown my Xbox. When I just tried to play again expecting to be able to resume, it didn't work. I goggled and had to find out, that EA removed this option.

WHY? Not everybody is able to start and finish a game in a row. I was always hop on hop off, playing a quarter and resumed the other day or when my wife was not asking for something and I could have some me-time.

EA, this is not user friendly at all. I'm asking to have I game I'm used to and to my expectation. So please do an update and include the resume option asap.
