Cloud + Autosave issues

I started a franchise and played it through week 9 on my laptop.  When I got to my home I installed and brought over saves via cloud to my PC.  When I loaded into the game and loaded the most recent save, it sent me back to week 4 and overwrote any other save I had.  How incompetent can EA be that their own cloud save feature/implementation in a game released in 2025 can't tell which file to upload/download?
