CPU Pursuit Speed
Any way to adjust how fast CPU defenders pursue the ball carrier? It's flat out comical how fast 300lb defensive lineman become when a RB takes the edge. I realize everyone in the NFL is an elite athlete, but in this game large and bulky NFL players are channeling Usain Bolt to take ground on guys that run 4.4-40's when they breach the LOS. Something's gotta give. Not every play needs to be a home run, but is it reasonable to expect a RB or a QB with decent speed to be able to outrun a DT? Or to speed past the angle of an average linebacker from the opposite side of the play? It's almost like the runner becomes slower as the box defender becomes faster once they enter pursuit. It's especially apparent when a DB intercepts a pass and they try to run past the now-defending O-Line, and the 6'5" 330lb Guard equips an invisible jetpack to travel 30 yards in .9 seconds to cut off the 5'11" 190lb Corner sprinting at full speed through the open field to make the most spectacular physics defying tackle anyone has ever witnessed. Is anyone else having this issue, and if so, does anyone know a fix that can balance the realistic physics and limitations of the human body?
