- Separate roster with lower ratings on players for Sim style playing
- Game sliders for SAC, MAC, DAC on QB’s and not just overall Acc Slider
- Abilities that are not absolute
- More penalties called in SIM mode
- Weekly Recap with every game for the week reviewed.
- Pregame show going over games for the day giving stats from previous games, injury news, trades, weather, playoff clinching scenarios, division clinching scenarios
- Unique score bugs on games for the week of and before Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Delete replay of FG’s with and create a cutscene of the drive stopping play in slow motion and a mini score bug with short commentary on score, time, etc
- Delete the running of the players to the sideline w the coach to the same as above except from the td scoring play
- Have the ability to disable coaching abilities that give boosts to players in game. Just because you are a specific coach doesn’t make you magically better. Let XP do that.
- Better game intro with stats, keys, injuries, trade news etc. we have the same intro info every game. needs a variety.
- More off target throws that are overthrown or wide in the game, esp short yards(SAC) under 20 yards and deep (DAC) over 40 yards. Both user and mainly CPU as this never happens.
Yo, the separate AC sliders are a fantastic idea though. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on the lower overall rosters and why you'd say lower is better for SIM? I edit rosters every year and usually crank overalls up a bit, and experience must better, harder gameplay.
GVRH i find myself doing the opposite. i find myself taking big chunks off of the wr's and qb's. i also find myself getting rid of the bloated 99 ratings. i can't stand 99 in any rating or overall. QB misses should be more often. WR drops should be more often. QB ratings outside passing need some tuning down. i feel it makes the game more arcade than real. that's why i would like a calmed down roster/ratings system. i find it harder when you have more chances of failure than rewards by bumping ratings up. really, i just want the game balanced. right now QB's and WR's and TE's rule the show.
Jokill05 Well I can certainly respect it. It seems like an opposites approach to the sliders that may actually work better. Does that seem to tame the CPU better in terms of the catching and passes, etc? If you drop a roster online I'd definitely be willing to try it and test the difference between how mine and yours feels in game. That way I could analyze each roster position by position to see which seems better for each in two separate franchises.
i did put a roster online. it helped some, but still needs refinement i think. RealisticQBWR i think i named it on xbox.
