I will be respectful, but EA doesn't care about us. This year's game could be one of their best, but the roof on my team's stadium is always open. State Farm Stadium is NEVER open in September or October. Also, there are bleachers in the game that were removed before LAST season. How can I enjoy a supposed simulation of the real NFL and my favorite team if the stadium experience is completely ruined???

You’re definitely not alone in this one. Other players have pointed out similar issues with stadiums, especially ones like State Farm that have retractable roofs. They close their roof for a lot of reasons, but that definitely changes during the season. In Franchise mode, the roof seems to stay open no matter what, even during months like September or October when, in real life, it would almost always be closed. That kind of detail matters, especially when you're playing a mode that's meant to feel like a true NFL simulation.
I've also seen feedback about stadium elements like bleachers still appearing, even though those were removed in real life before last season. You're not wrong to expect that kind of thing to be updated, especially when you're trying to enjoy the game as a fan of your team.
A couple of quick things that would help us better understand what you’re seeing:
- Have you noticed if the same open-roof issue happens at other stadiums too, or just State Farm?
- Have you played with different weather or time-of-day settings, and if so, did that change the roof's behavior?
- Did this happen in a brand-new Franchise, or one you started during early access or earlier builds?
- For the bleachers, do you remember which part of the stadium still has them in-game?
How is no one talking about fixing the trash gameplay??? Why did they get rid of stuff like base zone and other things that made defense possible? 26 is the wordy madden in years. They dumbed down the defense so much literally anyone can’t easily score every drive. It’s stupid make defense difficult so scoring actually feels rewarding
Hey guy, what do you think about having discords or sub forums for each specific team, with one dev assigned to cover each division for QC? One dev to each team would be ideal but I understand resources.
