Madden Feedback

Hopefully this reaches the right people but i wanted to talk about the neglection that EA gives towards madden.

Every year ea releases gameplay trailers and videos with new things that is added towards the upcoming madden, and I think I speak for 95% of madden buyers when we promise not to buy the new game but we end up doing so anyway just because the previous one is riddled with major issues and little to no updates. The general public gets sucked in and the first thing almost everyone experiences in their first game whether ultimate franchise or anything else for that matter is bugs and glitches. Everybody that buys the game comes in with the expectation that it's a newly developed game and it should run smoothly with no problems, unfortunately this hasn't been the case for the last 7 madden games I have purchased and played.

I am a franchise player; I rarely touch other game modes but i do occasionally play them here and there. Franchise difficulty is and has always been a problem for me. I put the settings on the highest difficulty, and I score 40+ on every team, and if I try adjusting gameplay sliders like the game recommends suddenly my qb can't throw a check down to the running back and ends up either throwing at his feet or over his head which results in an interception. I basically have to make my own team unplayable and uncontrollable for me to lose. The roster management continues to be horrible. The dolphins or cardinals will refuse to release their qbs even though they are normal dev and have a 50 Ish million-dollar cap hit. The CPU is so afraid of having to pay any dead money it would rather keep them on the roster as a backup while paying them 50 million a year, instead of cutting them and saving 30 million while taking on a 20-million-dollar dead cap hit. During the same offseason the chiefs are drafting a QB in the first-round while having a 99 rated Patrick Mahomes on the roster (Mahomes was still healthy so the game wasn't glitched into thinking they needed a qb, which i have also seen happen numerous times). These issues are especially disappointing especially considering EA was emphasizing smarter CPU roster management before this game was released, this was also in the gameplay and information trailer prior to the release of the game.

The most important bug and one that every madden user experiences is input tax. If I wanted to adjust the numbers and uniforms for a whole team on my franchise most of the duration will be from slow loading screens and errors. Every time I move to a different slide, or I choose to cycle through the interface there is a major delay. This has nothing to do with how much storage my PS5 has or whether my internet is fast because i am not the only one experiencing this issue. This was also "focused" during the development of madden 26 and unfortunately it seems to be a big lie.

i would like to know whether there will be any real changes to this franchise and also whether our input means anything to the upcoming developments of future madden games. The forum is stacked with many great ideas from users, yet it seems like none are ever implemented or taken into account.
