Seriously all I want to do is play Franchise, but now you guys went and ruined that completely by adding portraits with the specific team jerseys in the pictures. Players switch teams, but in the game their Jerseys don't change. This was absolutely moronic. Signed, canceling my EA account.
could not agree more, this was a ridiculous change, white jerseys were uniform and looked good when players swapped teams, but my biggest gripe is that the portraits were just better before, now the lighting looks horrible and so many players look like they got weird proportions idk if the fotos are stretched or shrunk to fit or something but a lot of players just look off, which was only the case for a few of the old portraits
I agree as well. After the long overdue title update, I finally started my franchise only to discover this issue. I get so irritated with this company. They have no attention to details.
Thats been like this since day one of Madden. That is a player's officially taken picture IRL and they aren't going to manipulate that. They probably aren't even allowed to. Go to ESPN, find a player that recently changed teams and you'll see the same. I'm sure that eventually when a player takes a new official picture with their new IRL team, it may be uploaded into the game...but considering all of the other major bugs they have and the fact they haven't even released the Companion App, this minor little cosmetic detail probably won't be high on their priority list.
What an absolute terrible idea. Absolutely kills the immersion of trades and free agent signings. Also the draft prospects will never have these team jerseys, so now they stick out like a sore thumb. Please change back if possible, terrible terrible decision.
I just want to make sure I'm understanding what you're saying, which is that Madden has always had player portraits where the players have their official team jerseys on in their profile pics? If that is what you're saying that is false. Just to make sure I'm not crazy I looked at M24, 23, and Madden 22 and every player in all three games is wearing a generic white jersey. I don't remember Madden ever having team specific jerseys on the player profile pics.

Yeah this does kill the immersion of the game. As a creative I could not understand how they put so much detail in the graphics and animations and this highly visible issue gets signed off on the patch. Some AD or CD slipped up or maybe there is no AD or CD and AI made the mistake. I hope it gets fixed soon even though the mugshots look improved.
Agreed just bring back the generic jerseys in the photo portraits already EA!
