Error Code: CE-108255-1
Issue:
My Superstar Cornerback (Major Jennings) was imported from EA SPORTS College Football 26. I’ve played approximately 4–5 seasons with this player.
About two days ago, the save became corrupted.
The career selection screen still lists him as:
- Major Jennings
- CB
- Level 53
- 99 OVR
- Pittsburgh Steelers
However, once I load into the career:
- My CB now has QB passing stats.
- The Player Stats screen lists him as QB #7.
- His player tag says “QB of the Future.”
- He has thousands of passing yards and passing touchdowns even though this career is supposed to be a Cornerback.
Whenever I attempt to start:
- a Season Game, or
- Training,
the game immediately crashes with CE-108255-1.
Additional information:
- My RB Superstar works normally.
- My QB Superstar still loads, but it was unexpectedly reset back to the Combine as a rookie on a new team.
- This appears to have mixed the data between my QB and imported CB careers.
Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Confirmed game is fully updated.
- PS5 system software is updated.
- Restarted the console.
- Verified other Superstar careers work normally.
Request:
Please investigate this as a Superstar save corruption bug, especially involving imported College Football 26 players, because I have multiple seasons invested in this career and would like to recover the save if possible.
