My goodness. It worked! It has been nearly two weeks for me and none of the other solutions posted in several forums have worked for my failure to launch error message. If anyone happens to see this, I already had autoplay off in my settings, but I turned off overlay as frank22201 suggested and I was able to launch Madden 26. If you have tried all other issues and nothing has worked, give this a shot (and to be clear, my launch error was with Madden 26 and no other game). Thanks again frank22201

Yw! Yeah I've had the same problem for about as long my guess is maybe anticheat is flagging it or a bugged update.

I know old thread but as seen by myself and Liv4Lax2 it seems like the in game overlay on the ea application is causing a problem with the game going into full screen and crashing. I have tested it with turning it off and on. With it off no problems but the moment it is turned back on it causes the game to crash

I don't remember if you ever said you were steam or not but if you are could you validate your game files and see if you still have 3 files failing. I still have that error come up even tho the game launches and is playable. But overall I'm also curious to know if it's just me lol
