Game keeps crashing or freezing in superstar mode PS5

Every time i try to enter superstar mode it enters the opening combine cutscene, whenever i go to skip it, the game either crashes altogether, or it goes into this soft locked camera angle and i can't do anything other than close the game.

I've done effectively every method of troubleshooting from uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the cache, deleting save data, rebuilding the console's database, even factory resetting my console, nothing has worked.

I believe the save file is corrupted but there is no way to actually delete it from what i have seen and i literally can not play the game mode despite it being the only reason i made the purchase.

I can play literally every other game mode but crashing only takes place in superstar. If anyone has encountered this or is aware of a fix i would really appreciate it thanks.
