PC - M26 in fullscreen adjusts the refresh rate to 59hz

Question

good find so the game is changing the monitor fresh rate thats interesting i am going to have to check this out.

Well, in Fullscreen, the game controls the display ( resolution + refresh rate). The issue I've seen is that Madden 26 is picking a really low refresh rate when in fullscreen, instead of the highest available.

I haven't seen anyone else confirm my findings, it takes a multiple monitor setup.

i have no issues running the game with 120 and 400 fps(idk if 400 is shown correctly through nvidia overlay 😇) in all 3 display modes. but when i start xbox game bar, the fps decreases to 60 only in fullscreen mode. on the others 2 modes fps stays as it was befor. maybe additional running programs forces madden to reduce the fps...

tested again with the xbox game bar. if i make a screenshot with the xbox controller, fps goes down to 60 for around 5 seconds and then go back up again.

Very interesting! I don't think this should be a hard fix for them - main thing is just bringing it to their awareness.
